First Baptist Church Youth

Growing up in today’s world is tough. Youth and children must be able to face this reality and live with purpose, hope, faith, and joy. We believe passionately that these qualities of life are uniquely found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Enrichment

Kindergarten – 8th Grade
Each week, we have Children’s Sunday School (Sunday Enrichment) during our worship service. Adults and children gather in the sanctuary for the beginning of the worship service. Children are then invited to their Sunday school classrooms. We have a dedicated group of volunteer teachers who teach the Bible in child-friendly ways

Youth Participation Sundays

(Last Sunday of every month)
Children and teens take an active role in the worship service by ushering, scripture reading and participating in vocal, instrumental and drama presentations.

Boy Scout & Cub Scout Troops 64

The First Baptist Church of Haddonfield is the chartering organization for Scout Troop 64 and Cub Scout Pack 64. The Troop is open to all boys ages 11-17 (grades 6-12) in the local area, and the Pack is open to boys and girls ages 5-11 (grades kindergarten – 5th). New members can join the troop or pack at any time of the year. No prior scouting experience is required.

About Troop 64: Founded in 1926, the troop’s goal is to encourage youth to develop into leaders in an environment where the scouts themselves lead the troop activities as much as possible (with oversight from the adult leaders). The troop provides a robust year-round outdoor adventure program (for example, weekend camping trips). Service to the local community is also stressed. The troop meetings take place on Monday evenings between 7:30 and 9:00. For more information on the troop, please visit the troop’s website:

About Cub Scout Pack 64: The pack provides an environment for the younger boys and girls to have fun with a purpose. They learn about teamwork, set and accomplish goals, visit interesting places, participate in the annual Pinewood Derby race, and enjoy outdoor activities such as camping (milder weather only). Many of the cubs “cross over” into the troop after completing their Webelo rank. The pack meetings take place biweekly on Thursday evenings between 6:00 and 7:30. The meeting schedule and other information about the pack can be found at the pack’s website:

Prospective members are invited to attend either a troop or pack meeting to get a sense of what we are about.  The meeting room is in the basement of the church.
