Prelude “How Firm A Foundation”

Traditional American Melody

Arranged by Lani Smith

Pianist: Marlea Gruver

Organist: Will Powell

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, is laid for your faith in his excellent Word!

What more can he say than to you he has said, to you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

“The soul that on Jesus still leans for repose, I will not, I will not desert to its foes.

That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, I’ll never, no never, no never forsake!”

Welcome: Rev. Erin Phillips

*Call to Worship: Chip Chapman

People: open our eyes to beauty and tune our ears to harmony.

People: we want to taste with delight the joy of your presence here today.

All: Amen.

*Invocation: Rev. Erin Phillips

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Anthem “Like A River Glorious”

James Mountain Setting by Timothy Shaw

Pianist: Will Powell

Like a river glorious is God's perfect peace, over all victorious in its bright increase:

perfect, yet it floweth fuller every day; perfect, yet it groweth deeper all the way.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest, finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Benediction: Rev. Erin Phillips

Postlude “All Glory, Laud and Honor”

Traditional Hymn Arranged by Amy Webb

Pianist: Marlea Gruver

All glory, laud, and honor to you, Redeemer, King, to whom the lips of children made sweet hosannas ring.

You are the King of Israel and David's royal Son, now in the Lord's name coming, the King and Blessed One.
